A long wait of a test series in India comes to an end. Almost after two years Indian fans would see a test series at home. And this would be for the first time that India will play without the likes of Sachin, Ganguly, Laxman, Dravid at home in a test series. Times change and so do the game and attitude. This time India is down with losses in limited version of cricket against South Africa. The home team is looking for some inspiration maybe from the version of the game or the leader.
The turning pitches for test matches in India could bring some success to India. Spin has been India's strength and South Africa's weakness. R Ashwin would play a big role in the test series. India has a good batting line. South Africa has equally good batting line up too. South Africa could be better in pacers but India has an upper hand in spin department.
While Virat Kohli will take charge of the test team, South African team will be lead by Hashim Amla. He has captained the team in eight test matches and he is yet to taste a defeat. But his own form is a concern. While Faf du Plessis or AB de Villiers did a good job with the bat, Hashim Amla hasn't yet found form in India. JP Duminy is unlikely to play in the initial test matches due to injury.
